GLORIA, ORIENTAL MINDORO — The Gloria Municipal Police Station (Gloria MPS) has received construction materials donated by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Gloria for the establishment of the Gloria MPS Luntian Multi-Purpose Hall, a forthcoming facility that will further strengthen the station’s operational and administrative capabilities.

The men and women of Gloria MPS expressed their sincere appreciation to the LGU Gloria, headed by Hon. Mayor Teresita M. Ong, for its continued support and commitment to enhancing the capabilities and welfare of the local police force.

The planned Luntian Multi-Purpose Hall is envisioned to become an important facility for Gloria MPS. Once completed, it will serve as the station’s Tactical Operations Center (TOC) in support of the implementation of Project CORDON, providing a dedicated venue for operational coordination, monitoring, and related activities.

Beyond its operational function, the facility will also serve as a conference room and multi-purpose venue for various station activities, including meetings with force multipliers, seminars, capability-building activities, and training sessions for police personnel and stakeholders.

The construction of the facility is seen as a significant boost to the administrative and operational capacity of Gloria MPS, providing the station with a more suitable and functional space for coordination, planning, training, and community-oriented activities.

The Gloria MPS recognizes that initiatives such as this are made possible through strong partnership and collaboration between the police and the local government. The support extended by LGU Gloria demonstrates the shared commitment of both institutions toward building a more capable, responsive, and community-centered police service.

The men and women of Gloria MPS once again extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Mayor Teresita M. Ong and the Local Government Unit of Gloria for the valuable assistance and continued support.

With the construction materials now on hand, the Gloria MPS Luntian Multi-Purpose Hall is one step closer to becoming a reality—a facility that will stand as a proof to the strong partnership between the PNP and the local government in serving and protecting the people of Gloria.

According to PMAJ Florante M. Sugian II, Chief of Police of Gloria MPS, the project is more than just the construction of a physical facility; it is an investment in the station’s ability to deliver better and more responsive police service.

“We are deeply grateful to Mayor Teresita M. Ong and the Local Government Unit of Gloria for this generous support. The construction of the Luntian Multi-Purpose Hall will significantly enhance our operational and administrative capabilities, particularly in the implementation of Project CORDON. More importantly, this facility will provide our personnel and stakeholders with a dedicated space where we can strengthen coordination, conduct meaningful training and conferences, and further improve our delivery of police services. This is a clear manifestation that when the local government and the police work hand in hand, we can accomplish more for the safety, security, and welfare of the people we serve.”

PMAJ Sugian II further emphasized that the Gloria MPS remains committed to maximizing the facility for the benefit of both police personnel and the community, while continuing to nurture the strong partnership between the PNP and LGU Gloria.

Together, we build not only a facility, but a stronger foundation for public service.
